Beverly Thompson
President


Beverly Thompson started her public service career working for Palm Beach County in 2004 in the Community Services Department.  Her current position is a Financial Analyst II for the Parks and Recreation Department.  As a member of the Parks and Recreation’s Finance team, she has many responsibilities including but not limited to the grant reporting, fixed asset management, utility management, and preparing and monitoring the Department’s operating budgets.

Beverly graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Business Management.  A Palm Beach County, FL native, Beverly enjoys spending time with her five year old son and her family. She has been an member of the Palm Beach Chapter of FGFOA since since 2017 as the Membership Committee Chair.

Andrea Simon
Treasurer

Andrea Simon has been the Director of Finance for the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s office since April 2019.  As Finance Director, she is responsible for submitting the office budget to the state, the annual audit and overseeing the daily accounting functions of the office.  Prior to coming to the PAO, Andrea has been the Controller of small companies in South Florida and has had her own CPA firm. Andrea graduated from the City University of New York, Queens College and has an active Certified Public Accountant license. Andrea is also an active member of the FGFOA and currently serves on their Education & Webinar Committee.

Judy Fleurimond
Secretary

Judy Fleurimond began her career in public service at the City of Boca Raton in 2013. Throughout her time at the City, she has held various financial roles in three different departments. She has prepared and monitored budgets and procurement, prepared the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, managed fixed assets at the department level and now maintains the city-wide database and transactions in her current role as Senior Accountant.

She has been a member of the PBC FGFOA since 2017 and this is her first year holding a board member position. She also became a member of FGFOA and GFOA in 2017 participating in various committees/groups between the two organizations: Black Caucus of GFOA and the Member and Leadership Development Committee of FGFOA where she chaired the Coaching Program subcommittee.

Judy earned two Bachelor’s degrees. A Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.

Tracey Stevens
Director

Tracey Stevens currently serves as Town Administrator and Finance Director for the Town of Haverhill. As Finance Director, she is responsible for developing the $1.5 Million annual budget for the community and overseeing the financial operations of the Town. She is responsible for safeguarding the assets of the town through implementation of adequate internal control mechanisms and investments and providing for the preparation and audit of the annual financial statements. In addition, she is responsible for grants administration and formulating and implementing the finance policies and procedures of the Town.

Tracey holds professional memberships in the Florida Government Finance Officers’ Association, International City Managers’ Association, Florida City & County Managers’ Association, Palm Beach County City Management Association, and International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and has devoted many volunteer hours serving on various boards and committees during her career.  She also enjoys helping other communities such as serving on the Town of Gulf Stream and City of Greenacres Audit Selection Committees.

Dorritt Miller
Director

Dorritt M. Miller, currently serves as an Assistant County Administrator for the Palm Beach County government working with TeamPBC to deliver first class services to the County’s 1.5 million residents and visitors within a $5.2 billion annual budget. This follows a long and productive career with the City of West Palm Beach where she served as deputy city administrator, assistant city administrator and deputy internal auditor.  Dorritt managed a number of key capital projects, most notably the signature $154 million City Center project consisting of a new city hall, library and photographic center and museum.  Dorritt started her career in public accounting and has extensive knowledge in financial management and business improvement. 

Dorritt earned her Masters in Accounting and Bachelors in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.  Dorritt is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Government Finance Manager and a Certified Public Pension Trustee.  She holds professional memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant, Institute of Internal Auditor, Government Finance Officers Association and Palm Beach County City Managers’ Association

Dorritt is married to Randolph and is the very proud mother of Natalie, son-in-law Christopher Williams and granddaughters Corinne and Campbell.

Dorritt has been an active member of the Palm Beach County Chapter for over 20 years and has received numerous recognitions for her volunteer work in Palm Beach County.

Wayne Hart
Director

Wayne R. Hart is currently a Senior Administrator - Financial Reporting at the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Palm Beach County where he has served in various accounting roles for nearly seven years. Wayne is part of a dedicated financial reporting team that focuses on generating the award-winning 300+ page Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for Palm Beach County.  Prior to joining the office, Wayne held financial reporting positions with a local school district and children's services council in the Tampa Bay area and his experience within the field spans 20+ years.

This is Wayne's initial year serving as a Board Director with the Palm Beach County Chapter of the FGFOA . Since 2018 he has assisted the Chair of the Chapter's Social Committee. Wayne is also a current member of the FGFOA, GFOA, and American Institute of CPA's.

Wayne earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Additionally he completed his 5th-year accounting coursework at the University of South Florida in Tampa and achieved the top CPA score in Florida for the reporting period.  In addition to his licensure as a Certified Public Accountant, Wayne is also a  Certified Government Finance Officer and Certified Public Finance Officer.

In his spare time, Wayne enjoys the company of his two "thoroughbred" cats Bellabutton and Mighty Myra and volunteers as a "cat whisperer" mentor at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.  Wayne resides in  Stuart and among his favorite activities are hiking the many tremendous nature trails along the Treasure Coast.
